PIERRE FABRE GROUP HIRES VP & COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR FOR ONCOLOGIE UNIT
New York, NY (March 17, 2006) – EF|IMD International, the executive search division of Epsen Fuller Group, announced the recent placement of Chris Kelly to the position of vice president & commercial director, for Pierre Fabre Oncologie, a division of The Pierre Fabre Group. The 2nd largest independent pharmaceutical group in France with total sales reaching USD 1.83B in 2004 in 130 countries and headquartered in Paris, The Pierre Fabre Group is dedicated to the research and development of drugs in the area of Oncology, Urology, Cardio-vascular, Infectiology/Immunology and CNS.
A creative relationship builder with technical savvy, Mr. Kelly joins Pierre Fabre Oncologie US headquarters located in Parsippany, NJ with an extensive background in pharmaceutical sales & marketing, most recently as the senior institutional healthcare representative and assistant to the sales director/Oncology Division of Pfizer. In these roles, he was responsible for the successful launch of several drug products, and the efficient functioning from an administration, data integrity, and sales training perspective of a region with $205M in sales volume.
Under the leadership of the managing director, Pierre Fabre Médicaments based in Paris, France, Mr. Kelly will charter the re-launch of Navelbine I.V., a drug used for the treatment of lung cancer and breast cancer, in the US and Canada under the Pierre Fabre Oncologie license by building on the reputation the drug acquired during the 10-year licensing agreement with GSK.
The position, requiring extensive domestic and international travel and a working knowledge of the French language, will report to the managing director of Pierre Fabre Medicaments based inParis,France.
