Under Armour Brings in New Board Member
Major athletic apparel brand Under Armour recently nominated a new board member in the person of Jenn DeVard, a 30-year marketing and leadership veteran who has served with the ADT Corporation and DeVard Marketing Group. The board will vote on her nomination in May. Visa has appointed John Lundgren, former CEO of Stanley Black & Decker, to its own board. He will serve on the audit and risk committees. Vitamin Shoppe, Inc. has announced two new directors – Tracy Dolgin and Alexander Smith – which expands the board to 12 members.
In the world of IT, Red Hat, Inc. has a new permanent chief financial officer, Eric Shander. Shander has been serving in the role in an interim basis after stints at IBM and Lenovo. Marketo has also added a CFO, Mark Miller. The company simultaneously announced the addition of Cvent CEO Reggie Aggarwal to its board. Charles Layne has stepped in as CEO at Telesoft, an expense and mobility management provider.
In the life sciences and health sector, Faron Pharmaceuticals has nominated two new members for its board, Dr. Gregory Brown and John Poulos. Medical device service provider MedPlast has appointed Brian King CEO. King has over 25 years’ experience as an executive. Immunotherapy developer Hookipa Biotech has a new CFO, 15-year biotech veteran Reinhard Kandera.
