Latest executive and board appointments
While the year is winding down, executive, C-Suite and Board moves continue unabated. Fashion retailer The Avenue has made two changes at once and brought in Nancy Toth Viall as its chief merchandising officer and Stephen Silbaugh as its chief marketing officer. At the Hershey Company, Wendy L. Schoppert has stepped into join the board of directors.
In another move that has been much-discussed in the media, startup food producer Soylent has brought on a new CEO, Bryan Crowley. Crowley recently began with the company as its president and is replacing founder Rob Rhinehart, who will stay on as executive chairman.
In the technology space, PAR Technology Corporation has chosen two new directors – Douglas G. Rauch and James C. Stoffel. At Benchmark Electronics, Roop K. Lakkaraju has become the new executive vice president and chief financial officer. Recondo Technology has also chosen its new CFO, selecting Craig Niemiec for the role.
Experimental cancer-drug developer PMV Pharmaceuticals recently appointed Winston Kung to both its CFO and chief operating officer positions. At Novelion Therapeutics, Michael Price has assumed the roles of senior vice president and CFO. Assembly Biosciences has chosen Sue Mahony as its latest director, increasing the size of its board to eight.
