Latest executive & board appointments
Technology leaders have seen significant changes in the executive ranks. For instance, Anthony Noto departed Twitter to become the CEO of SoFi. Noto served as chief operating officer at Twitter, and had been in the role since late 2016. Facebook has added a new board member – Kenneth Chenault, the outgoing CEO of American Express. At Intellicheck, David E. Ullman has been appointed to the board of directors. Ullman has served in the retail and financial services industries in operating and financial roles.
Among the consumer sector, restaurant chain California Pizza Kitchen has chosen its new CEO – Jim Hyatt, former chief executive of Ruby Tuesday, replaces the retiring G.J. Hart. Pier 1 Imports, seeking to advance a revised strategy, has appointed Nancy A. Walsh as its new chief financial officer and executive vice president. Bartell Drugs, a chain with 67 locations, has appointed the fifth CEO in its 128-year history: Kathi Lentzsch.
In the Life Sciences and pharmaceutical sector, Ipsen named Richard Paulson as EVP & CEO of Ipsen North America. Sanuj Ravindran and Erich Michael David have both joined BridgeBio Pharma, each as the CEO of a program within the company’s portfolio. At Alexion, Deborah Dunsire has joined the board of directors, bringing 30 years of biopharmaceutical leadership experience. Akari Therapeutics has chosen Michael Grissinger and Peter Feldschreiber as its latest board members.
